THis guy was so sleepy, nobody can get him to wake up at the MRT this morning:

She said everyone was trying to wake this guy up, until he fell to the floor - still asleep.
Mian and Nolan are celebrating their 4th anniversary today. I think it’s really special, since they spent most of their years in a long distance relationship.
Four years ago, Nolan got a scholarship grant to study in the US. Before his big move, he told Mian he loves her. And she (yii~) loves him back. They knew that a long distance relationship won’t be easy, but they decided to give it a try.
They got through it all thanks to the internet, supportive family members, and friends. I remember a particular February 14 when Nolan sent Mian gifts through his Aunt. I remember Nolan going back to the Philippines during his summer vacation to spend time with his family, and of course, Mian. And he was here for Mian’s 18th birthday.
Now Nolan’s here in the Philippines. And the’ve never been happier.
Happy anniversary to you two!

MANILA - Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago on Monday again slammed government officials’ infomercials in a fiery speech at the Senate, calling them a herd of “thick-skinned, dimwitted rhinoceros.”
Even before delivering her privilege speech, Santiago was already hitting government officials for their infomercials, which she said was a form of electioneering.
One of the officials she vented her ire on was Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) chairman Augusto Syjuco.
“Pasayaw-sayaw pa, ang puti na ng buhok niya! Hindi ba nakakahiya ‘yan, nakakawala ng respeto sa ganoong uri ng opisyal sa publiko?” Santiago said.
Santiago cited a report by the Commission on Audit (COA) that said Syjuco’s ad cost P28.3 million.
The senator also had words for Interior and Local Government secretary Ronaldo Puno.
“Sobra pang kapal ng make-up,” she said.
Puno’s infomercials from 2008 to 2009 reportedly cost nearly a million pesos.
“Tapos pina-bira niya ako sa kolumnista niya na hinahabol ko lang daw siya. Sino ba siya para habulin ko nang mag-isa? My goodness. I married one of the most handsome men in the entire country, and sasabihin niya hinahabol ko siya?,” Santiago said.

I have to do this real fast or else I’ll forget all the things I’ve thought about.
I was having a pretty good morning. Mom made my lunch, my bunny was extra cute, and I got out of the house pretty early. I go on a bus in less than a minute.
On the bus, I was fantasizing about doing a fashion shoot. I want to do a fashion shoot now. I was also fantasizing about doing a blog post about the lolita girls here in the Philippines (or at least about my loli contacts on multiply). I want a shoot.
Today’s supposed to be a record for my timeclock, but this crappy MRT was against me. I got there at around 8:20 - a record for the past few weeks. I could get to the office by 8:45 - my supposed record time for today. But MRT decided to pack their station with tons of people, skip a train, and then let us go to wherever we have to go. It took me 40 minutes to get to Ortigas. Early bird mode fail.

Woke up late this morning. 8:15. Work @9:00am. And nobody bothered to tap my shoulder to wake me up and say “late ka na!” Fine. And the world seemed to be against me when busses failed to come on a 5 busses per minute rate (”may bus strike ba ngayon? Ano ba?“). Good thing MRT wasn’t acting-up or else I’m doomed. And again, I got an e-mail from the HR about me being late. Rawr.
I need to ‘manage’ my time. Because for some reason, my body demands 8 hours of sleep. I wish I had my high school body clock - 4 hours of sleep is A-ok. Include not sleeping for exam days. I started to lose this ’skill’ when I went to college. And now, I somehow lost it. Haay.
Time management blah.
I need to wake up at around 6am (at least) so I can leave at arounf 7. That gives me 2 hours of travel time - ample enough to just ride the bus from Monumento to Ortigas. But just to be safe, I’ll brave the “rush hour period” of MRT.
So, if I can get to work by 9am, I can leave by 6pm, and go home.
Go home right after work? Err, as if. I want to walk around after work. Maybe meet-up with boyfriend or just stroll around the mall, window shopping. I HAVE TO CHANGE THIS. I need to sleep early. Rawr.
I need determination. Self-reminder: Bernard might work night-shift, so I have to be off by 6 so I can spend time with him before he goes to work.
Rant rant rant. Babble babble babble.
Sometimes, when I see something too bizaare to be true, I just have to share it.
Here’s a copy of my conversation with Bernard about a weird girl I saw at MRT this morning.
Madz: lam mo ba
Bernard: hehe
M: may weird girl sa mrt kanina
M: malaki syang girl, matangkad tapos medyo mataba rin
M: tapos weird yung outfit nya
B: y?
B: ano outfit nya?

Hello Doms. You’re 21.
For Doms’s birthday, we went to Market! Market! to play at Lazer Xtreme. Imagine counter-strike with black light and lasers. Yeah.
The game is pretty simple. Shoot your opponent on partcular areas of their vest (shoulders, back, front) or their guns (phasor). The team with the highest score wins the game.
A maximum of twenty four people can play in each round (30 mins). These people are divided into three groups, pink, blue, and green. Shoot your opponents while running around a two-level arena complete with hiding spots and home bases. Oh, you can shoot your opponent’s bases for extra scores. A person who gets shot cannot shoot for three seconds.
We also have codenames. Mine is Flash. You’ll see your codename on your gun.

Another review! Woot!
I watched this last night:

(taken from www.vintagebooks.wordpress.com)
I first saw the trailer of this movie when we watched Orphan and my anti-bachelor’s party instinct kicked in. I don’t really approve bachelor parties. For me, a bachelor’s party is a ‘one-last cheating session’ before getting married. Strippers blah. Ugh. But when Azarael Coladilla sent me an e-mail inviting me to review the movie, well, I just wanted to watch it (actually, boyfriend wanted to watch it so…).

Thank you, President Cory Aquino.
(I know this is a very late post, but I couldn’t write anything about in the past few days.)
