I have this weird urge to blog but I’m not sure about what to talk about. Maybe its because of that semi-fail applesauce I made last night. Or my sleeping position that made the right side of my body feel all tingly.The windy weather? Lack of sleep? I wonder.
I downloaded some Sailormoon manga volumes last night. Just to remind me of my childhood days. I wanted to understand the corny anime dialouge and learn why she has to go nekkid and do acrobatics while transforming. Reading through volumes and volumes of my old favorite made me cringe (sobrang cheesy!) and finally understand the story. It’s actually waaay better than how I remebered it. Ah, childhood memories. Now I want to look for the movie version.

I need more motivation.
I have this list of ‘to create’ things. And it keeps getting longer by the day. I have to learn how to make an armor for an event next month. I also want to design a simple shirt. I have this notebook of ideas for my next sewing projects for my online shop (Laced by Hand). I also have this pending comic strip project. Maybe I should add my urge to do a metal bangle (I was inspired by Liz’s lace-sequin bangles). Ideas ideas ideas. Now I need time. And energy.
Maybe I should start bringing projects to work. I used to make ruffles on the bus to work/home. It saves me some time in making some projects. See, ruffles (when made by hand) takes quite some time. And it takes more time when I feel a little more meticulous about spacing the folds between ribbons or lace. I enjoy making them though, I get the design I want. Plus, my wallet won’t cry because of those expensive pre-made ruffles from Carolina’s.
I still wish we had a working sewing mahine though. Our antique sewing machine got soaked by Ondoy last week. My grandma’s pretty sure that it’ll still work, but we need money and a trusty (and reliable) repair man to do the job.
